I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH SWAMI VIVEKANANDA.....
HE SAID, "Live in this world like the lotusleaf ,which grows in water but is never moistened by water;so a man ought to live in the world -his heart to god and his hands to work."
his writings are pure logic...... if you read him, you will know... oh god... he is amazing....
he ,in his twentys , was leading the parliament of religions....
it is so amazing.......
when he would speak, people would be enthralled.....
he said amazing things... like:
"how is it that you do not remember anything of your past life?? this can be easily explained.. i am now speaking english...it is not my mother toungue, in fact no words of my mother toungue are now present in my conciousness; but let me try to bring them up , and they rush in. that shows that conciousness is only the surface of the mental ocean and within its depth are stored up all our experiences. try and struggle and they would come up and you would be concious even of your past life."

Wow! How cool. So, is Swami a title for a teacher? Is it for Hindus only or is applied to teachers of other faiths as well? I am so curious.

teachers of other faiths can also be called swamis i m sure.... but he is really cool... he died before he turned 40 and he had prophesised that earlier...
